Registration Open: MN NIGP 2020 Annual Conference - December 8, 9, and 10

MN NIGP 2020 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The MN NIGP Chapter's annual conference will be held virtually this year on December 8, 9, and 10.  This year's conference will feature nine 45 minute sessions over three days and opportunities to network with peers. Information about registartion and presenters is provided below.

Conference Information

The MN NIGP Chapter has partnered with national NIGP to host this year's conference virtually, utilizing the VConferenceOnline event platform.  VConferenceOnline will provide conference attendees a unique interactive environment to enjoy each session with a seamless viewing experience from the comfortable confines of your office or home.  Each afternoon (beginning at either 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.) attendees will log-in to the conference to take part in three or four sessions.  If you are unable to attend any of the sessions, they will be available on-demand to access and view through March 15, 2021.  Therefore, even if the conference dates don't work for you, it is still worth registering because you can have the conference experience at a time that is more convenient for your schedule.

Registration

MN NIGP Chapter members and Alaska/Hawaii Sister Chapter members:

Early Bird Registration: October 13 through November 13 at $75 per member.

Regular Registration: November 14 through December 4 at $100 per member.

Members of all other NIGP Chapters:

Early Bird Registration: October 13 through November 13 at $150 per member.

Regular Registration: November 14 through December 4 at $175 per member.

After completing a ticket, download, complete, and submit the registration form as instructed to complete registration.  Attendees paying via purchasing card can select the appropriate ticket below to faciliate payment.  Attendees paying via an alternative method should indicate perferred method on the registration form.  A representative from the MN NIGP Board will contact you to faciliate payment.

Presenter Backgrounds

* Motivational speaker John Kriesel,  author of "Still Standing: The Story of SSG John Kriesel" winner of eight national book awards.

* Matt Havens nationally renowned speaker presenting "Stop Acting your Age!" a keynote on how to balance generational differences within your office environment.

* Darin Matthews, FNIGP, NIGP-CPP, CPPO, CPSM, C.P.M. Darin is a director at Negometrix, an international leader in digital procurement.  He has over 25 years of procurement and supply chain management experience in both the private and public sectors, including experience as chief procurement officer for University of California - Santa Cruz, Portland State University, and Portland Public Schools.

* Valerie Scott, CPPB, Purchasing and Contracts Manager for the City of Longmont, Colorado presenting "Hot Off the Press: When you can't Control the Narrative" a retrospective on defending the integrity of the procurement process when placed under scrutiny.  Through the lense of a recent RFP process, Valerie will share how ethical standards, professional conduct, establishing ourselves as experts, and defending our process resulted in heightened respect for the procurement office.
