The past 12 months have caused great disruptions as well as great opportunities for our public procurement community to shine as every-day heroes.  You have been resilient in delivering best value procurements while advancing your own career aspirations through continuous learning and networking.  As your trusted advisor, NIGP is working alongside you to buildout Pathways as a flexible, relevant educational program that connects your life-long journey with multiple options for being recognized.  During our time together, we will refresh our recollection of the achievements in 2020 while emphasizing the next critical steps towards workforce and career development, mentorship and leadership.

 

Speaker Bio: Rick Grimm became NIGP’s 5th Chief Executive Officer in January 1998 after his election to its Board in 1995.  Rick holds a Business Administration bachelor’s degree (University of Miami) and a Public Administration master’s degree (Florida International University).  He worked for 23 years in county government and public school districts with 12+ years in public procurement management.  He earned his NIGP-CPP and holds both designations from the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council. Rick is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply.
